Facebook doesn’t need any introduction. The largest social networking was 1.94 billion active users like You and me, sharing messages, information and finding friends every day. Download copy of your Facebook data
You can download your information from your Facebook settings. You can find settings on the right side of the Facebook top toolbar menu (drop down to see). To download your Facebook data follow the steps,
- Click at the top right of any Facebook page and choose Settings.
- Click Download a copy of your Facebook data at the bottom of the page. You will be guided to the next page like the one shown below.
- Click Start My Archive. (A notification displayed showing “It may take a little while for us to gather your photos, wall posts, messages, and other information”)
You will get an email in your registered mail when your Facebook data is ready to download.
You will get an email on your inbox saying that your data is ready to download. Using the link you can reach the Facebook page, click “Download a copy of your Facebook data”. The compressed (Zip) archive is downloaded to your computer. Keep it in a secure place as it contains your personal information. You can extract the achieve if you want to view what information is available to you. It is a wise idea to keep a copy of your Facebook account with you, it will help you when your account will be hacked or stole by somebody.
