It is highly important to save documents with a protection from replicating your valuable documents without your permission. For that you can give secure passwords, to protect it from editing, you can disable editing option. But still some problems still remains. Users can easily print the document, copy, paste documents… So there is something to visible to users that the content is copying or printing without permission or a duplicate copy. If you want to protect your document “Confidential”. You can add a text watermark containing the text “Confidential” to pages with sensitive information.

To add watermark in Acrobat DC, Choose Tools > Edit PDF > Watermark > Add To apply the watermark selectively to individual pages, click Page Range Options. Then specify a page range and choose a Subset option, as needed.

Remove Watermark using Acrobat

To remove watermark in Acrobat DC, open a single PDF. Choose Tools > Edit PDF > Watermark > Remove. To remove watermarks from multiple PDFs, close any open PDFs and choose Tools > Edit PDF > Watermark > Remove. In the dialog box that appears, click Add Files, choose Add Files, and then select the files. Click OK, and then in the Output Options dialog box, specify your folder and filename preferences. That’s all.

In Acrobat PRO, Open the PDF file that you want to add watermark, go to View > Tools > Pages. View Pages Menu. In the Edit Page Design subsection, select Watermark > Add Watermark. Add Watermark Option. You can specify the Source, Appearance and Position of your watermark print. In the box appearing in the text option, type your watermark text, or select an existing source file of your watermark image. Select the font size, colour, opacity, rotation angle . In the Appearance Options section, there are some choices, Show when printing, Show when displaying on screen, or Keep position and size of watermark text consistent when printing on different page sizes.
